Lizzy Plapinger of MS MR has created a solo project known as LPX. Her first song, “Tightrope”, is released and ready to be heard.
After six years, constant touring, and two awes-inspiring albums with critically acclaimed group MS MR, the members decided a hiatus was in order. On her own for the first time in her musical career, Plapinger has already created the fiery path that follows a force to be reckoned with. The new take on pantone punk brings the artist herself to the very edge, pushing Plapinger and her audience to their very core.
Mixed by Rich Costey, “Tightrope”’s distorted background and primal vocals rip through listeners, leaving behind splinters of lyrics and longing. LPX, although in its first stages of growth, show promise that doesn’t rear its’ head often in the music industry.
Give “Tightrope” a listen and stay tuned for the very likely show dates LPX will have in-store.
