Bryson Foster / Condor & Jaybird

Music is everything to me; it’s an emotional outlet, it’s creative self expression, it’s my tool to navigate the world, the universe, and myself.  I was first interested in playing music when I was really young and got into school band as soon as I could and eventually made my way to the drum set when I was 11 years old.

I stuck with it and found myself playing in bands and making lifelong friends by the time I could drive.  I graduated high school and knew I wanted to continue studying music so I moved away from the midwest for a while and went to college. After graduating I did some traveling and soul searching til I found myself back in the midwest in 2013 when Condor & Jaybird formed, and it’s been the best years of my life.

We’ve written 3 full length albums together, driven all over the US, played hundreds of shows and have made many friends all along the journey.  None of this would have been possible had we not been so supportive of each other though – the music we write, record, and play is a testament to how much we’ve grown throughout the process, and I’m so humble to be guided and loved by such intensely amazing humans.

Condor & Jaybird
Rock Island, IL.

Founded in an attic in 2013, Condor & Jaybird started as a dual collaboration between Connor Lyle and Jeramie Anderson, with no expectation beyond creating music. Shortly after inception, the duo enlisted Jake Lyle (Connor’s brother) on bass and percussionist Bryson Foster. Condor & Jaybird have ever since crafted their own style of darkened psychedelia reminiscent of Sgt. Peppers, theatrical Queen and nuanced metallic roots. The group has released three full length albums since 2015, conquered four tours and gained sponsorship from local pizza company, Mama Bosso Pizza.
