The pop-punk/winter rock band known as Diet Cig will release their debut album, Swear I’m Good At This, March 7th. Diet Cig will be touring this album beginning February 4th in Binghampton, New York.

Diet Cig, known for the no-bullshit musical style, is one of few bands headed with female vocals that has begun climbing the ranks of pop-punk influenced indie rock. Following this leap into another male-dominated division of music, vocalist Alex Luciano and drummer Noah Bowman create what the New York Times called “a lo-fi whirlwind, with strings cutting to the heart”.

Guaranteed not to disappoint, Diet Cig’s LP sized ‘Fuck You’ brings amped relief to anyone listening. Songs “Tummy Ache” and “Maid of the Mist” belt out confirmation that it’s okay to be a mess.

“Its the shout into my pillow when what I’m saying isn’t being heard, and a big old I FEEL YA to all the femme folks creating space for themselves in a world that wants to keep us quiet.” Luciano tells of her creation.

Swear I’m Good At This is available here for pre-order as well as merch and their previously released EPs. Diet Cig is set to perform at both the Noise Pop Festival and SXSW before the Swaer I’m Good At This tour kicks off.
