Swedish sweethearts Banks and Exon released a smooth and feminine rendition of 50 Cent’s ‘Candy Shop’ today (see what we did there?). After meeting years ago in Berlin, the duo decided to cover one of their favorite late night feel good songs with a bit of a twist.

“For Exon Banks, “Candy Shop” is about asking for what you want without permission and expanding one’s perspective on femininity and gender. It’s about reclaiming the right to your own sexuality and transcending gender expectations. Most of all, it’s about being yourself and enjoying life.”

Check out the track and make sure to keep an eye on Exon Banks on their Facebook and Soundcloud for tour announcements.
