Photos by Anna Selle, words by Nick Howland

Sweat, heat, and thunderstorms couldn’t keep people from having some fun in the sun at this years Boulevardia. Packed with tasty food trucks, beer beyond belief, limited edition beer unveilings, and incredible music performances, the two day festival was one for the books. 2017 marked the festival’s first year in Kansas City’s Stockyard District, which is located just across from the previous years’ location, The Westbottoms. The Stockyards were once home to KC’s thriving livestock industry as well as the American Royal. Friday and Saturday saw music acts from local acts like Hembree, Bears and Company, Rachel Mallin & The Wild Type, and international acts like The Struts and George Clinton. Check out Anna’s photographs from the festival below and get pumped for Boulevardia’s return next year.
