Photos by Anna Selle, words by Nick Howland

Six years. That’s how long the album cycle was between 2011’s Helplessness Blues and 2017’s Crack-Up. The last time the band was in Kansas City was the same year Helplessness Blues was released. Two days ago the harmonious, gentle sounding band made their triumphant return to the Midland Theatre in the Power and Light District in KC.

Anna Selle was in attendance to listen to the airy tunes and capture the one-of-a-kind performance in photos. Check out the photo gallery from the show below and be sure to catch the band as they continue their tour. There’s no knowing when they’ll be back on the road.
