Friday nights are the best nights for concerts. The waves of the workweek have finally stopped crashing down and your own schedule is the only thing that defines the next few days. We celebrated our weekend-gifted freedom by grabbing a camera and heading to the Uptown Theatre in Kansas City, MO. to catch two gorgeous and flowing Americana sets from Lake Street Dive and opener Aoife O’Donovan. Soaring harmonies, compelling strings, and beautiful lighting made for a rather incredible Friday night.

Hop into the gallery above and get a glimpse at what the show was like.
