Guys On A Bus are perhaps the most professional young band I’ve encountered. The Joplin, Missouri-based quartet pinged my radar when they performed at Sofar Sounds KC a few months ago, and since then, I’ve been eagerly awaiting their next project.

Enter “Little Problems”.

“Little Problems” follows the songwriter as he declares, “I spend too many days inside my head”. Someone stumbling or something more out of life, finding a little spice and exciting. This 3 minute track embodies the best of Guys On A Bus. The jaunty guitar runs throughout – complimenting the effortless harmonies. Guys On A Bus has a knack for sounding almost folky at times; little hints of twang and miniscule song structure choices only reinforces this. With a festival-ready sound of quirky drums and powerfully catchy hooks, I have a feeling we’ll all be seeing Guys On A Bus showing up a lot more.

Guys On A Bus are criss-crossing parts of the midwest this summer. I highly suggest checking them out. Follow their Facebook for updates.
