Kansas City experimental R&B duo – Y god Y – are at it again with their latest single, “Tired”. The nearly four minute track carries with it the signature danceable groove that the duo have already established in their first two singles. The cadence of the song will bury deep into your brain, with Garrett Marsh’s falsetto serenade bouncing around your cerebrum. Joel Martin’s smooth, driving pop tracks move the song forward, sideways, up, and down.

Between moments of Phil Collins and an undeniable 80’s influence, Marsh peaks through with his narrative. This track seems to take on more of a long-form format, constantly building upon itself, shifting, and changing.

Catch Y god Y tonight at the recordBar if you’re in the Kansas City area. Pick up the single on iTunes.
