SIRES, the pop with a dash of punk band from Des Moines, Iowa who blew us away at the 80/35 Music Festival, recently released a new track titled “She’s Into Me.” The track blends a simple and groovy tempo with some pretty catchy lyrics. As the title implies, the song tells the story of a crush and the wild adrenaline-induced excitement of realizing the other person is into you as well. Maybe there’s a little bit of cockiness sprinkled in there as well, but you can make the call on that yourself. The guitar driven climax towards the middle of the song almost feels like band has successfully driven the listener to the top of “make-out point” and landed the first kiss. It’s a song that’s captures the sound of summer and the feelings of initial attraction rather accurately.

The track comes from the band’s album Soul For Sale, which came out September 23 on Station 1 Records. Give the song a listen below and if ya dig it, the vinyl pressing of the album can be ordered on the record’s label’s website. It even includes a copy of the CD. Such gentlemen.
