While Kansas City-based indie collective Momma’s Boy – comprised of Peter Beatty (guitar/vocals), Shaun Crowley (guitar/vocals), Quinn Hernandez (drums), and Jared Bajkowski (bass) – is busy preparing for their show this week opening for the incredible Walker Lukens, we’ve actually got a little post-Halloween treat for you. With an immense amount of midwest pride, today we bring you the exclusive premiere of the second single from their Dead Summer Singles series, a psychedelic thrasher titled “Personalize”. Sauntering along at mid-tempo, the track is most notable for its fun beat and crashing cymbals, with instrumentals that provide a truly 70s nostalgic flare to it all. Closing our eyes while listening to the last waning notes on the guitar, we’d be hard pressed to imagine a better live music experience, especially closing out such an incredible week in music.

Check out Momma’s Boy as they open for Walker Lukens at The Rino tonight. Keep up with the band here.
