Randall Holt is a world-class cellist based out of the great Austin, Texas. Holt’s resume reads quite impressive, having performed with Reverend Glasseye, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, as well as his own projects: Knest and Horne + Holt. Holding his own, Holt is gearing up to release a solo record, set to release this Friday (4/20/2018) on Self Sabotage Records, Inside The Kingdom Of Splendor And Madness.

Easing the listener in with driving plucking, “What Hope We Have, What Hope We Haven’t” creates a lush soundscape full of introspection and wanderlust. The nearly seven-minute track takes the listener down a winding road, one where a multitude of emotions show their face. Sad at parts, daunting and dreary, but quietly triumphant at others.

Pre-orders of Inside The Kingdom Of Splendor And Madness are up now. This beautiful album will hit streaming platforms this Friday.
