Makeup, big colorful outfits, and an excess of talent. The Band That Fell To Earth, Kansas City’s David Bowie tribute band, has done two tribute shows in the past two years and are strutting their way to their third annual performance. The concert is a newly cemented New Year’s tradition for regional Bowie fanatics.

The lineup for the band collects some of KC’s best musicians from bands like Season To Risk, Katy Guillen & the Girls, Victor & Penny, Not A Planet, The People’s Liberation Big Band, and more. The show isn’t just about music either. There’s video projection from XO Blackwater, live American Sign Language interpretation, and various local artists and business who will be contributing to a raffle at the event. And, of course, it’s a chance to remember Mr. Stardust himself. The memories are going to last just as long as the glitter you’ll be finding on your clothes.

To celebrate the sparkly and inspiring event, we’re premiering a live video of the band performing “Just Dance” at last year’s concert. The video was edited by Khitam Jabr and shows the performance of the song as well as behind the scenes footage of the show itself.

The third annual show will be held on January 6, 2018 at recordBar in Kansas City, Mo. Doors are at 8pm with music starting at 9pm. General admission and VIP tickets are available online or can be purchased at the door. A portion of ticket sales and raffles will be donated to Harmony Project KC as well. Be sure to snag tickets early as the past two years have sold out quick!
