Boston-based duo The Dazies – comprised of M. Holland (Vocals, Electric/Acoustic Guitars, Drums, percussion) and Kurt Schneider (Bass, Backing Vocals) – drops the music video for their track “Misery” today, and we’ve got your exclusive premiere. As absurd as the beginning seems, it gets crazier than a man waking up and struggling with a tin foil helmet hat.

The video was shot with a fun, nostalgic feel to bits of it, and aspects of it – including outfits – make it seem as though this could have been shot in a variety of decades. As dapper as the guys look as they stumble across the landscape, what really drives the video is the upbeat, indie rock song that continues to drive home the point that “we’re on the outside lookin’ in.”

How lonely that type of “Misery” must seem.

The Dazies’ current release is a split with Courters titled Seen A Ghost, featuring the single “Misery”, and available via Bandcamp. Keep up with The Dazies here. Catch The Dazies February 19th at Charlie’s Kitchen in Cambridge, MA.
